Content creators of all experience levels can elevate the sound quality of videos, interviews, livestreams, and mobile productions with the DJI Mic 3. This easy-to-use wireless digital microphone and recorder system delivers clear, detailed audio while providing everything needed to record directly to an iOS or Android smartphone. Miniature clip-on omnidirectional transmitters provide a reliable wireless range of up to 1312' and can also function as backup recorders for added peace of mind. The compact receiver connects directly to a smartphone through USB-C, allowing you to complete setup quickly and start recording in seconds.

High-Quality Audio with Flexible Postproduction

The compact receiver connects to compatible mobile devices through its USB-C connector. An onboard switch provides quick access to noise cancellation settings, while a female USB-C port allows you to charge your connected device while recording.

The transmitters embed timecode information into internal recordings to simplify synchronization during postproduction. Dual-file recording captures both the original audio and an enhanced version, while 32-bit float and Lossless Audio recording modes provide additional flexibility when editing and processing your recordings.

Adaptive Gain Control

Choose between two gain modes to maintain consistent audio levels in different recording environments. Automatic mode helps prevent clipping when sudden loud sounds are expected, while Dynamic mode continuously adjusts gain in response to changes in volume for more consistent levels in controlled environments.

Voice Presets and Two-Level Noise Cancellation

Three voice presets—Regular, Rich, and Bright—let you customize the character of your recordings to suit different voices and production styles.

Two levels of noise cancellation help reduce unwanted ambient sounds. Basic noise cancellation minimizes continuous low-frequency sounds such as fans and air conditioning, while Strong noise cancellation is designed for louder environments and significantly reduces surrounding noise.

Dual-Band Wireless and Bluetooth Connectivity

The DJI Mic 3 uses dual-band wireless frequency hopping across 2.4 and 5.8 GHz frequencies to provide a wireless transmission range of up to 1312'. Built-in Bluetooth 5.4 also enables direct connectivity with compatible mobile devices.

The transmitters can connect directly to select DJI cameras, including the Osmo 360, Osmo Action 5 Pro, Osmo Action 4, and Osmo Pocket 3, eliminating the need for a receiver.

Long Battery Life

Built-in transmitter batteries provide extended recording time for all-day content creation. Features such as automatic sleep mode and automatic power-off help conserve battery life, while simultaneous charging of a connected smartphone adds convenience during longer recording sessions.

Included magnetic charging cables make it easy to recharge the transmitter units and keep the system ready for your next shoot.
