Product Description

The Zhiyun CRANE 3-LAB is a professional three-axis handheld camera stabilizer designed for compatible DSLR and mirrorless camera systems. It features electronically controlled pan, tilt, and roll axes to compensate for unwanted camera movement and maintain smooth, controlled footage. The gimbal supports a camera payload ranging from approximately 650 grams to 4.5 kilograms (1.43–9.92 pounds), depending on the camera and lens combination. Its mechanical movement ranges include 360-degree pan rotation, 360-degree roll rotation, and 273-degree tilt movement, allowing a wide variety of camera positioning options. The stabilizer incorporates a built-in control handwheel and supports optional TransMount servo motors for electronic focus and zoom adjustments. Integrated wireless image transmission can send a live video feed at up to 1080p to a compatible smartphone or tablet through a supported connection and application. The CRANE 3-LAB uses three rechargeable 18650 lithium-ion batteries, with a manufacturer-rated maximum runtime of approximately 7.5 hours and a charging time of around four hours. Additional features include an OLED status display, axis locking mechanisms, a quick-release camera plate, USB camera-control connections, and compatibility with the ZY Play mobile application.
