Compatible with Speedlights or strobes, the Rapid Box Switch Octa-S from Westcott is designed for fast setup and swapping out of different brands of strobes and speedlights in seconds. This version of the Octa includes a Bowens insert.
As the name "Switch" suggests, Westcott has introduced a line of softboxes designed for easy setup and quick swapping of different brands of strobes and speedlights in seconds. The 26" Rapid Box Switch Octa-S Softbox is ideal for studio or on-location work, including portraits, fashion, and corporate photography. Its large surface area provides a wraparound light quality, especially when used close up, and creates natural-looking catchlights in the subject's eyes. The softbox features a basic ring for assembly and requires one of 13 available "inserts" for compatibility with speedlights or specific strobe brands. A quick-release thumb-lock ensures the security of your light. In addition to its speed and convenience, the softbox is built with a durable metal framework, heat-resistant fabric, and a reflective silver interior that maximizes light output. The diffusion material has been tested to ensure neutral color rendition. A carry case is included for easy storage and transport.
