Product Description
The Tiffen 105mm Coarse Thread UV Protector Filter is a clear, general-purpose filter designed to absorb ultraviolet light and minimize the bluish tint often caused by daylight. It’s particularly effective when shooting in high-altitude environments or near water, where UV intensity is stronger. Because it doesn’t add any coloration or contrast, it can easily be used alongside other filters.
Beyond its optical benefits, this UV filter also serves as a protective layer for your lens, helping to guard against dust, moisture, scratches, and accidental impact.
Crafted using Tiffen’s ColorCore technology, the filter substrate is laminated between two pieces of optical glass, precisely ground to within 1/10,000th of an inch, and securely mounted in a precision metal ring.
