Created in celebration of Tamron’s 40th anniversary of the SP lens line, the SP 35mm f/1.4 Di USD demonstrates the company’s mastery of optical engineering. Designed for Nikon F-mount cameras, this wide-angle prime is a versatile tool for everything from street photography to events, offering outstanding sharpness, clarity, and low-light performance.

With its fast f/1.4 maximum aperture, the lens excels in challenging lighting while giving you precise depth-of-field control for beautifully isolated subjects. The optical design includes four low dispersion elements to minimize chromatic aberrations and three glass-molded aspherical elements to suppress distortion and enhance sharpness. Tamron’s BBAR-G2 coating further improves contrast and color accuracy by reducing flare and ghosting, even in strong backlight.

Performance is driven by a USD (Ultrasonic Silent Drive) autofocus motor paired with a Dynamic Rolling-cam mechanism, ensuring fast, quiet, and accurate focusing. Full-time manual focus override provides added flexibility, with a close focusing distance of 11.8" and a 1:5 magnification ratio.
