Created in honor of Tamron’s 40th anniversary of the SP lens series, the SP 35mm f/1.4 Di USD showcases the brand’s advanced optical expertise. This wide-angle prime lens is a versatile choice for everyday photography—from street scenes to events—and its fast f/1.4 maximum aperture provides outstanding low-light performance while giving photographers greater creative control over depth of field.

The sophisticated optical design includes four low-dispersion elements to minimize chromatic aberrations and three glass-molded aspherical elements to suppress distortion, ensuring excellent clarity and sharpness across the frame. A second-generation BBAR-G2 coating enhances contrast and color accuracy by reducing ghosting and flare, even in strong backlit conditions.

Focusing performance is powered by a USD (Ultrasonic Silent Drive) motor and supported by a Dynamic Rolling-cam mechanism for fast, quiet, and precise autofocus. Full-time manual focus override is available, with a minimum focusing distance of just 11.8" and up to 1:5 magnification for close-up work.
