Product Description

Sony a7 V Mirrorless Camera

Power in Every Frame

A true all-rounder built for modern creators, the Sony a7 V is a hybrid full-frame mirrorless camera that blends professional photo performance, advanced video features, and next-generation AI-driven autofocus. Compact, capable, and versatile, it’s equally at home capturing high-speed sports, cinematic video productions, or daily content creation. With technology inherited from Sony’s flagship lineup, the a7 V delivers powerful results in every scenario.

Next-Gen Imaging Performance

33MP Partially Stacked Exmor RS CMOS Sensor

The a7 V introduces Sony’s first partially stacked full-frame sensor, a 33MP Exmor RS CMOS design that offers faster readout speeds and reduced rolling shutter compared to the a7 IV. This enhanced sensor provides up to 16 stops of dynamic range, a native ISO range of 100–51,200, and enables an electronic shutter speed of up to 1/16,000 sec.

Paired with Sony’s new processor, it brings flagship-level improvements in image quality, subject tracking, and burst performance, ensuring exceptional responsiveness and clarity.

BIONZ XR2 Processor

At the heart of the camera, the BIONZ XR2 processor incorporates an advanced AI unit that enhances color accuracy, white balance, and autofocus intelligence. Together with the partially stacked sensor, it enables:

  • Blackout-free 30 fps continuous shooting with full AF/AE tracking

  • 7K oversampled 4K60p and Super 35 4K120p video recording

  • Advanced noise handling and real-time subject recognition

Capture the Decisive Moment

Pre-Capture & Speed Boost Modes

  • Pre-Capture lets the camera continuously buffer images when the shutter button is half-pressed, storing up to one second of action before the actual click—perfect for capturing fast, unpredictable moments.

  • Speed Boost allows instant switching to a higher burst rate (up to 30 fps) with a single custom button press, ensuring you never miss the peak moment.

Custom RAW Options

The a7 V offers flexible RAW formats—compressed HQ, lossless compressed, and lightweight RAW—for optimal balance between image quality and workflow efficiency.
The new Composite RAW feature combines 4, 8, or 16 sequential frames to create high dynamic range, low-noise images, ideal for low-light shooting.

Rock-Solid Stability

The 5-axis in-body image stabilization (IBIS) system compensates for up to 7.5 stops of camera shake at the frame center (6.5 stops at the periphery).
For video, Dynamic Active Stabilization adds electronic correction for ultra-steady handheld footage—even while walking or tracking a subject.

AI-Powered Autofocus and Subject Recognition

Borrowing cutting-edge tech from the a7R V, a9 III, and a1 II, the a7 V features a dedicated AI Processing Unit for intelligent and precise autofocus.
The 759-point phase-detection AF system covers 94% of the image area and focuses down to -4 EV, delivering lightning-fast accuracy.

Enhanced Recognition Capabilities

  • Detects and tracks humans, animals, birds, insects, cars, trains, and aircraft

  • Human pose estimation for accurate focus on body, head, and eyes—even through obstructions or when subjects move erratically

  • 30–50% faster recognition of animals and birds compared to the a7 IV

  • Real-time Tracking and Auto Subject Recognition automatically adjust focus mode without needing manual subject selection

  • Full-time DMF enables instant manual override of autofocus

Professional Video Power

7K Oversampled 4K

Record 4K60p 10-bit video using the full sensor width, oversampled from 7K for exceptional detail and realism. Switch to Super 35 mode for 4K120p or FHD 240p slow-motion capture.

Sony FE 28-70mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS II Lens (Sony E)

Lightweight, Everyday Versatility

Compact, capable, and reliable, the Sony FE 28-70mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS II is a full-frame standard zoom lens that covers everything from wide-angle to portrait-length perspectives. Designed as the perfect all-around companion, this second-generation version brings faster autofocus performance while maintaining the sharp optics, built-in image stabilization, and durable weather-sealed design that made its predecessor a favorite among everyday shooters.

Enhanced Autofocus Performance

The standout improvement in Version II is its upgraded autofocus system, now supporting AF-C during continuous shooting with AF/AE tracking at up to 120 fps—ideal for capturing fast-moving subjects or high-speed video.

  • AF tracking during zooming allows for smooth, natural focus transitions.

  • A linear motor and internal focusing design deliver quick, quiet, and precise performance, perfect for both stills and video work.

Optical SteadyShot & Reliable Build

The built-in Optical SteadyShot (OSS) system minimizes camera shake, ensuring sharp handheld shots at slower shutter speeds. When paired with a camera featuring in-body image stabilization, it provides even greater blur control.
The dust- and moisture-resistant construction ensures dependable operation in challenging environments, while rubberized control rings enhance grip and handling—even in cold or wet conditions.

Refined Optical Design

  • One Extra-Low Dispersion (ED) element minimizes color fringing and chromatic aberrations, ensuring superior clarity and true-to-life color.

  • Three aspherical elements help correct distortion, astigmatism, and other optical imperfections for consistent edge-to-edge sharpness.

  • A rounded 7-blade diaphragm produces soft, natural bokeh for beautifully defocused backgrounds.

Lightweight yet robust, the Sony FE 28-70mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS II is the ideal go-to zoom for photographers and videographers seeking portability, precision, and everyday versatility in one dependable lens.

Sony FE 24-70mm f/2.8 GM II Lens - Sony E

Small Size, Huge Versatility

A refined take on the fast standard zoom, the Sony FE 24-70mm f/2.8 GM II is not only smaller and lighter than the previous generation, it also features a variety of optical, focusing, and handling upgrades that make this the most well-rounded G Master zoom to date.

G Master Image Quality

Designed to rival the primes, this zoom's optics have been revamped to provide even greater resolution, clarity, and bokeh quality.
  • Bright f/2.8 constant aperture allows users to capture images in dim lighting conditions and with a shallow depth of field.
  • Two ED (extra-low dispersion) and two Super ED elements effectively suppress chromatic aberrations and color fringing for greater clarity and color fidelity.
  • Five aspherical elements, including two extreme aspherical elements (XA), minimize spherical aberrations, and distortion, and also reduce 'onion ring' bokeh.
  • Nano AR Coating II controls flare and ghosting with support from a new optical design that reduces internal reflections.
  • An 11-blade aperture diaphragm helps create smooth, circular bokeh at all aperture settings.

Faster AF and Floating Focus Mechanism

Faster focusing performance, improved close-up shooting, and enhanced control are all benefits of the redesigned focusing system.
  • Four XD (extreme dynamic) Linear Motors contribute to greatly improved focusing performance, compared to the DDSSM system of the predecessor, including faster, quieter, and more precise AF that's ideal for both photos and stills.
  • Faster AF means improved focusing when working with fast-moving subjects; support is available for shooting at up to 30 fps, full AF is maintained even when the shooting stopped down, and focus tracking is possible even when changing the zoom position.
  • The floating focusing mechanism helps maintain image quality throughout the focusing range, which is especially important considering the impressive close-up performance of this lens: a minimum focusing distance of 8.3" at the 24mm position or 11.8" at the 70mm position and a maximum magnification of 0.32x at the 70mm position.
  • The internal focusing design promotes snappier, more responsive focusing performance and also maintains the overall lens length during operation.

Improved Control and Video Capabilities

Just as camera design has grown to appeal to both photo and video shooters, this lens has also been updated with a series and attributes that specifically appeal to video shooters' needs.
  • Focus breathing, focus shift, and axial shift during zooming have all been minimized to prevent unwanted movements and angle of view variations for greater compositional accuracy during recording.
  • Supports the Breathing Compensation function in select cine-line and Alpha cameras.
  • The XD Linear Motors are also especially quiet to better enable the use of AF during video recording.
  • Linear Response MF provides natural, intuitive manual focus control.
  • Manual aperture ring can be de-clicked for silent operation and the zoom smoothness can be adjusted depending on the desired torque.

Compact, Lightweight, and Robust Design

Among the smallest and lightest f/2.8 standard zooms available, this lens doesn't lose sight of its professional attributes and also remains a weather-sealed, durable lens for use in trying working conditions.
  • Approximately 22% lighter and 18% smaller than its predecessor, this zoom is a highly portable and versatile option for a huge variety of shooting applications.
  • Now fit with a manual aperture ring, tactile exposure control is possible. This ring can be de-clicked for smooth and silent iris pulls or it can be locked in the 'A' position for camera-based aperture switching.
  • Two programmable focus hold buttons and a focus mode switch for intuitive focus control.
  • Zoom smoothness switch for changing between Smooth and Tight zoom ring torque.
  • Hybrid construction uses both metal and plastic components to maximize both durability and a low weight design.
  • Dust- and moisture-resistant design includes rubber gaskets at each seam and a rubber ring sealing the lens mount for ensured use when working in inclement weather conditions.
  • Front lens element has a fluorine coating that repels water, oil, and other contaminants and makes the lens easier to clean.
  • Included lens hood features a locking button and a filter window for easier adjustment of rotating filters (e.g. polarizers, variable NDs).
