This Sigma 45mm f/2.8 DG DN Contemporary Lens (Leica L-Mount) is in Excellent condition, showing only the faintest signs of previous use on its robust, all-metal aluminum barrel. The glass is pristine, free of any scratches, haze, or internal dust, with the Super Multi-Layer Coating fully intact to minimize flare and maintain high contrast. Functionally, this compact prime is in perfect working order: the stepping motor (STM) provides fast, near-silent autofocus that is fully compatible with Eye-Detection AF, while the dedicated manual aperture ring clicks precisely in 1/3-stop increments. The focus ring is well-damped with a "silky" feel, and the dust- and splash-resistant brass mount ensures a secure, weather-sealed fit. Included is the original fluted metal lens hood, which is also in excellent condition. This lens has been fully tested and offers a perfect balance of vintage-inspired tactile handling and modern optical performance for L-mount systems.

The Sigma 45mm f/2.8 DG DN Contemporary is a compact and lightweight full-frame prime designed for Leica L-mount mirrorless cameras. It balances sharp optics with portability, making it ideal for street, travel, and everyday use. With a fast f/2.8 max aperture, the lens produces smooth bokeh and pleasing out-of-focus highlights thanks to its rounded 7-blade diaphragm. It focuses quietly and quickly via a stepping motor, and offers a close focusing distance of about 24 cm (9.45 in) with a maximum magnification of around 1:4. Built with durable weather resistance in mind, it features metal mount components, a 55 mm filter thread, and a hood for flare control—all in a lens weighing around 215 g.
