This is a very clean copy of a compact, fast standard zoom lens for Leica L-mount cameras (Leica, Sigma, Panasonic). It's from Sigma's modern Contemporary series. It's in excellent condition with only light, normal wear on the barrel. The glass is pristine—no scratches, fungus, or haze. Any minor internal dust is microscopic and won't affect image quality. The autofocus is fast, quiet, and precise, and the zoom and focus rings are smooth and responsive. This is an excellent, constant f/2.8 workhorse lens, highly valued for its combination of optical quality and small size. It's fully tested and ready to produce beautiful, sharp images right out of the box.

The Sigma 28-70mm f/2.8 DG DN Contemporary is a full-frame standard zoom for the Leica L-mount system, designed to balance performance and portability. It features a constant f/2.8 aperture throughout the zoom range, making it useful in low light and for controlling depth of field. Two FLD and two SLD elements, plus three aspherical elements in its optical layout, help reduce chromatic aberration and distortion. Autofocus is fast and quiet thanks to a stepping motor, and the lens offers good close-focus capability (19 cm / ~7.5 in at the wide end) with a maximum magnification of about 1:4.6. At ~470 g and 72.2 x 101.5 mm, it remains one of the lighter f/2.8 zooms in its class, well-suited for travel and hybrid still-video use.
