The Saramonic Vmic5 Pro Camera-Mount Shotgun Microphone is a lightweight, compact microphone designed for vloggers, content creators, mobile journalists, and run-and-gun videographers who need clear and reliable audio for their productions. Building on the original Vmic5, the Pro version adds expanded tone and level controls, convenient headphone monitoring, and automatic power functionality while maintaining the same portable form factor.

The microphone features a supercardioid pickup pattern that focuses on sound directly in front of the mic while minimizing noise from the sides, delivering significantly improved audio quality compared to built-in camera microphones. Its integrated shockmount attaches easily to a camera shoe or tripod while reducing vibrations and handling noise. A detachable TRS cable is included for simple connection to cameras or portable recorders.

Enhanced Controls and Performance

• Three-stage gain control with +20 dB, 0 dB, and −10 dB settings for flexible recording in different environments

• High-pass filter (75 Hz or 150 Hz) to remove low-frequency rumble from wind, footsteps, or HVAC noise

• +5 dB treble boost to improve speech clarity and dialogue intelligibility

• Automatic power on/off when plug-in power is detected
