Product Description
The ProMediaGear GT2 Tomahawk V2 Gimbal Head Attachment is designed to mount onto Arca-type ball heads, transforming them into a versatile gimbal setup ideal for telephoto lenses. Featuring dual built-in Arca-type dovetails at its base, the GT2 easily secures to compatible ball heads, while the top-mounted Arca-type clamp with a quick release plate ensures fast and secure lens attachment. Long telephoto lenses can be connected directly using an Arca-type tripod foot or an attached quick release plate.
By combining the tilt function of the clamp with the motion of the ball head, this setup delivers a complete range of tilt and swivel adjustments. Independent control knobs allow for smooth tightening and loosening, and an integrated bubble level helps maintain perfect balance. Additional 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded mounts on the base and side provide flexible attachment options to tripods, monopods, and other supports.
Constructed from T6061 aluminum with a sleek black finish and stainless steel sealed bearings, the GT2 offers precision, strength, and reliability for heavy telephoto use.
