  • Easy to use pop open umbrella style with 8mm rod
  • Less than +/- 150K color temperature shift
  • Meticulously designed arc shape for even light
  • Compatible with all Paul C. Buff™ flash units or any flash unit that has an umbrella adapter that will support an 8mm umbrella rod.

The Soft Silver PLM™ umbrella is perfect for everyday use with various subjects as it bounces the light from the flash unit, retaining high efficiency with a wide angle of coverage. The soft silver fabric produces a controlled, feathered falloff with very soft shadows, perfectly round catchlights and an added specular punch over the white PLM™ umbrellas.

PAUL C. BUFF 86” PLM White Front Diffusion Fabric

The White Front Diffusion Fabric is available in 51”, 64”, and 86” for the corresponding size PLM™ umbrellas - for use with both the Soft Silver PLM™ and White PLM™ umbrellas. When used with the Soft Silver PLM™, the beam spread is widened and it becomes a superior bounced-light octabox with very even light across the surface. When used with the White PLM™, it produces a very soft, wide-angle bounced light source. The white fabric fits over the face of the open umbrella and has a center hole opening for the flash unit (with a drawstring to tighten around the face of the flash unit).
