The M.Zuiko Digital ED 50-200mm f/2.8 IS PRO from OM SYSTEM is a 100-400mm-equivalent telephoto zoom that blends speed, stability, and portability in a rugged, weather-sealed design. Tailored for wildlife, sports, and outdoor adventures, this lens keeps pace with fast-moving subjects while maintaining excellent image quality in a variety of environments.

Bright, Flexible Optics

Spanning a useful 100-400mm-equivalent focal range, this zoom is defined by its constant f/2.8 aperture, offering impressive low-light performance and creative depth of field control. Advanced optics—featuring low dispersion and high refractive index elements—deliver sharpness, color accuracy, and minimal aberrations, while the ZERO II coating reduces flare and ghosting for vivid results in challenging light.

Speed & Stability

• Fast autofocus system optimized for tracking wildlife, birds, and athletes, supporting C-AF bursts up to 50 fps.

• 5-axis Sync IS provides up to 7 stops of shake correction with compatible OM SYSTEM bodies (approx. 5.5 stops with lens IS alone), ensuring sharper handheld shots and a steadier EVF view.

Close-Up Capability

Despite its telephoto reach, the lens also performs well up close, with a minimum focusing distance of 2.6 ft across the zoom range. At 200mm, it achieves 0.25x magnification, enhanced further by IS and the bright f/2.8 aperture for handheld macro-style shooting. It also supports in-camera focus stacking with compatible OM SYSTEM bodies.

Compact for its class, the lens measures under 9" and weighs approx. 2.75 lb (with tripod adapter). Its internal zoom and focus design maintains consistent length for better sealing and balance.
