Alright, let's look at this legendary super-zoom. This NIKKOR 18-200mm VR is rated in Fair Condition, and we want to be clear about its cosmetic state. The rubber grip around the zoom ring is starting to loosen a bit, which is common on these older models—it doesn't affect the zoom function, but you might want to consider gluing it down if it bothers you. Also, there's a small cosmetic crack on the outside edge of the filter thread. Importantly, this crack is minor and does not affect the ability to screw on a filter, nor does it impact image quality. Functionally, however, this lens is still a workhorse. The optics are clean, the Vibration Reduction (VR) system works perfectly, and the autofocus is snappy.
