Short description

This is a functional, classic ultra-wide fast zoom lens for Nikon F-mount full-frame cameras. It is in fair condition with significant cosmetic wear, but the optics are good. The body has cosmetic fading and discoloration around the barrel, particularly noticeable on the black finish and near the focus/zoom rings, consistent with a well-used professional lens of this age. The finish is worn, but the structure is sound. The zoom and focus rings are smooth, and the autofocus (requires camera body motor) is working correctly. The glass is clean and clear with no fungus or haze. There is minor internal dust typical of older zoom lenses, which will not affect image quality. There are no deep scratches on the front or rear elements. This is an excellent, affordable way to acquire a fast, ultra-wide constant f/2.8 full-frame lens. It's fully tested and ready to produce sharp images.
