Product Description
The Nikon NIKKOR-S Auto 50mm f/1.4 AI is a classic manual-focus standard prime lens known for its bright f/1.4 maximum aperture and distinctive rendering. Designed for Nikon F-mount cameras, its versatile 50mm focal length makes it well suited for portraits, street photography, everyday shooting, and low-light work. The fast aperture provides excellent control over depth of field and allows photographers to create attractive subject separation while maintaining a compact and relatively lightweight setup.
As an AI-converted Nikon F-mount lens, it offers compatibility with a broader range of Nikon cameras than the original non-AI version while retaining the traditional mechanical focusing experience that makes vintage NIKKOR lenses so enjoyable to use. Its all-metal construction, tactile focusing ring, and classic optical character make it an appealing choice for both photographers and collectors looking to add a vintage Nikon prime to their kit.
