Leica SL3-S: Faster Than Ever
The Leica SL3-S Mirrorless Camera continues Leica’s legacy of precision and performance, blending speed, durability, and innovation. At its core is a 24MP full-frame BSI CMOS sensor paired with a hybrid autofocus system, capable of continuous shooting at up to 30 fps with full AF, making it the fastest Leica ever made. The SL3-S also supports unlimited 6K Open Gate internal recording using the full sensor area in its native 3:2 aspect ratio. Built to endure, it features a solid IP54-rated all-metal body and Content Authenticity Initiative (CAI) credentials for verified image integrity.
24MP Full-Frame BSI CMOS Sensor & Maestro IV Processor
At the heart of the SL3-S lies a 24MP full-frame BSI CMOS sensor powered by the Maestro IV processor and 8GB of buffer memory. Together, they deliver outstanding low-light performance, vivid color accuracy, and high-speed processing in both DNG and JPEG formats. Handheld multishot modes offer up to 48MP and 96MP resolution options for detailed imagery, making the SL3-S a flexible tool for professional photographers.
Advanced Autofocus System
The SL3-S introduces a major autofocus upgrade, featuring 779 AF points—three times more than the SL2-S and over twice that of the SL3. The combination of Phase Detection AF and Contrast Detection AF provides faster, more accurate tracking for moving subjects, even during continuous bursts at 30 fps. With smarter object detection and improved subject tracking, the SL3-S redefines speed for Leica shooters.

Unlimited 6K Open Gate Recording
