With an equivalent 24mm field of view on the large 43.8 × 32.9 mm sensor, it’s ideal for landscapes, architecture, and reportage, offering a 71° viewing angle. The lens features a built-in central leaf shutter synchronized to 1/2000 sec at all speeds—great for flash use—and an internal autofocus mechanism with manual override for smooth and precise control. Its optical construction maintains sharpness all the way to close focus (40 cm) and provides excellent correction for aberrations even at wide angles thanks to advanced coatings and design. While compact for a medium-format prime, it still delivers the performance expected of the Hasselblad XCD line.
