Offering a 36mm full-frame equivalent focal length, it’s a versatile choice for landscapes, street scenes, environmental portraits, and everyday shooting.
The lens features two aspherical elements that minimize distortion and optical aberrations, ensuring outstanding sharpness and clarity across the frame. With a minimum focusing distance of just 1.1 ft, it’s also well-suited for close-up compositions.
A mechanical focusing system provides a precise, tactile feel for manual operation, while its fast, quiet autofocus ensures smooth performance for both stills and video. Additionally, the lens incorporates a redesigned central shutter that allows for near-silent operation and supports shutter speeds up to 1/2000 sec, with flash sync available at all speeds.
