Each of these neutral density filters minimizes the amount of light that enters the drone's sensor. The ND16 reduces it by 4 stops, the ND64 by 6 stops, and the ND256 by 8 stops. The more you reduce the light, the more you can manually manage exposure to deal with bright lighting conditions of varying intensity. The ND16 is ideal for normal daylight with the ND64 and ND256 for very bright conditions, letting you capture motion blur more easily on moving subjects, such as vehicle traffic or waterfalls.
