The DJI Avata 2 FPV Drone offers significant enhancements, making it an excellent choice for both beginners and seasoned pilots. It provides a seamless entry into FPV flying and immersive content creation. The compact design allows for fast, low-altitude flights through tight spaces, now with the added feature of one-button acrobatic maneuvers. The gimbal captures sharp 12MP stills and vibrant 4K HDR videos, with fields of view ranging from normal to 155° ultrawide. To ensure safe flying, DJI has equipped the Avata 2 with an integrated prop guard and a new binocular fisheye visual positioning system.

Professional Imaging
The Avata 2 features a 1/1.3" image sensor that excels in low-light conditions, capturing stills up to 12MP and 4K HDR videos. You can choose between normal, wide, and 155° ultrawide angles to suit your project and piloting style. For professionals, the 10-bit D-Log M support retains more highlights and details, offering greater flexibility in editing and color grading.

Stabilized Footage
DJI's RockSteady and HorizonSteady features ensure stable footage even during high-speed flights. RockSteady provides pure stabilization, compensating for high speeds and windy conditions, while HorizonSteady locks onto the horizon during horizontal rotation up to 360°.

O4 Long-Range Transmission
With the DJI O4 transmission system, the Avata 2 can control and transmit video from up to 8.1 miles away. Video feeds can reach up to 1080p100 resolution, with a bit rate up to 60 Mb/s and a response time as low as 24 ms. The Avata 2's 2T4R configuration with a 4-antenna array and strong anti-interference performance enhances its long-range capabilities.

Safer Flying
The Avata 2 upgrades from a single downward sensor to binocular fisheye sensors for both downward and backward visual positioning. Additional safety features include an integrated propeller guard and automatic return-to-home functionality triggered by signal loss or low battery.

One-Button Acrobatics
Get creative with your aerial footage by using the Avata 2's one-button acrobatic features to easily pull off complex stunts.
  • One-Button Flip: Perform 360° front or back flips
  • One-Button Roll: Perform 360° left or right rolls
  • One-Button Drift: Perform 180° lateral drifts past objects at high speeds, then swiftly pull away for an interesting effect
Works with LightCut
Officially supported by DJI for use with the Avata 2, the LightCut app for iOS and Android devices offers you convenient one-tap VFX without the need to download footage. AI-based technology analyzes the flight trajectory in the video and lets you use the Sky VFX feature to add overlays, through-the-air text animations, and more. In addition, the One-Tap Edit feature uses AI recognition of video type and theme to let you intelligently add sound effects, perform color restoration, and more, giving you professionally polished final cuts for faster sharing online.
Turtle Mode
If the Avata 2 happens to accidentally flip upside down, Turtle Mode can be used to automatically flip it back to takeoff position to quickly get it back in the air.
