Canon’s imagePROGRAF PRO-1100 Professional 17" Wireless Inkjet Photo Printer, distinguished by its signature red line typically reserved for their professional lenses, is engineered to deliver wide-format prints with deep blacks, smooth gradations, and an expansive color gamut that faithfully reproduces even the most challenging colors. Utilizing FINE (Full-Photolithography Inkjet Nozzle Engineering) technology and an 11-color LUCIA PRO II pigment-based ink set, this printer ensures improved gloss uniformity, anti-bronzing, and enhanced color range, while the Chroma Optimizer further enhances glossiness, flattens the print surface, and expands the color gamut. The PRO-1100 can handle print sizes up to 17" wide, offering borderless printing up to 17 x 22" and accommodating media thicknesses from 0.1 to 0.7mm.
Powered by the L-COA PRO Image Processing Engine, the PRO-1100 efficiently processes printing paths and patterns, enabling it to produce bordered 17 x 22" photos in just four minutes. Canon's Air Feed System prevents paper skewing, ensuring precise ink placement. The LUCIA PRO II ink set also features high light-resistant inks for long-term image preservation, improved scratch resistance, enhanced black density, and better reproduction in dark blue areas.
The printer is equipped with a 3.0" color LCD for easy settings adjustments. Connectivity options include USB 2.0, Ethernet, and Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), with wireless printing supported by Canon's PRINT app, Apple AirPrint, and Mopria for iOS and Android devices.
Anti-Clogging Technology and Compensation Function
This printer features Anti-Clogging Technology with a fine print head that ensures precise ink ejection. Sensors monitor the ink nozzle conditions, and if a blockage is detected, an alternate nozzle is activated to prevent printing failures and reduce the need for head cleaning.
Air Feeding System
