Short description

This is a functional teleconverter for Canon's manual focus FD-mount lenses. It's in good condition with some cosmetic wear. The body has light scuffs and minor marks from general use, which is normal for an item of this age. The mount connections are functional. The glass is clean and clear, with no fungus or haze. There may be some minor internal dust typical of older lenses, but it will not affect image quality. This is a great, low-cost option to double the focal length of your existing Canon FD lenses. It's fully tested and ready to use.

Product Description

The Canon FD 2X-B Extender is a teleconverter designed to double the effective focal length of compatible Canon FD-mount lenses (for lenses of 300mm or shorter focal length). It mounts between the lens and camera body and retains automatic diaphragm coupling so that AE (auto-exposure) functionality is preserved with suitable cameras and lenses. Using this extender results in a loss of two stops of light, and though the master lens’s minimum focus distance remains unchanged, effective magnification increases. It’s an excellent tool for reaching further without carrying a longer lens, particularly useful for wildlife, sports, or distant subjects.
