When paired with the powerful DIGIC 5+ image processor and 14-bit RAW recording, the full-frame sensor is capable of recording vivid imagery with an expanded sensitivity range up to ISO 102400. The processing power also provides advanced noise-reduction capabilities and allows the camera to record continuous still images at a rate of up to 4.5 full-resolution fps. The 6D employs an 11-point autofocus system for acquiring precise focus regardless of the shooting situation, further enhanced by a center cross-type focus point with low-light sensitivity down to EV -3. The iFCL 63-zone metering system also benefits from color and luminance information when making exposure measurements, helping determine accurate exposure settings.
