Product Description

The Asahi PENTAX Auto-Takumar 35mm f/3.5 is a vintage wide-angle prime lens designed for cameras using the M42 screw mount. Produced from approximately 1959 to 1962, this lens features a 35mm focal length and maximum aperture of f/3.5. Its optical design consists of five elements in four groups, with a five-blade semi-automatic aperture mechanism. The lens provides manual focusing with a minimum focusing distance of approximately 45cm and a 63-degree diagonal field of view on full-frame 35mm film. It features a compact metal construction and uses a 46mm filter size. The Auto-Takumar includes an aperture control ring and a dedicated focusing ring for manual adjustment.
