As the name "Switch" hints, Westcott has introduced a line of softboxes designed for setup and rapid swapping out of different brands of strobes and speedlights in seconds. The Rapid Box Switch Softboxis well-suited for head and shoulders portraiture, fashion, or situations where larger modifiers won't fit. As indicated in the name, the softbox has a basic ring to hold it together, but instead of full speedrings, 13 "inserts" are available for a speedlight or 12 different brands of strobes. The quick release thumb-lock on the Rapid Box Switch ensures the security of your light. Besides the benefit of speed, the softbox is structurally sound with durable metal framework, heat-resistant fabric, and a reflective silver interior that maximizes your light source's output.
