Product Description

Use this Westcott Quick Mount S-Bracket to mount umbrellas and modifiers onto compact lights without causing unwanted stress that can damage your delicate gear. For additional usability, the bracket is outfitted with three cold shoe mounts around its perimeter for speedlights with umbrellas. Made from a combination of aluminum and high-impact plastic, it is compatible with lights up to 3.5" diameter and modifiers weighing up to 4.5 pounds.

To build your rig it has a 1/4"-20 female center mount for your light and a vertical adjustment knob to precisely place the bracket in the light head opening with a 5/8" (16mm) stand thread and an 8mm umbrella thread. Its quick-mount plate can remain attached to your light for future mounting with less time wasted setting up. A built-in tilter bracket with 5/8" receiver adjusts up to 180° for precise light placement. A tension screw securely locks umbrellas in place, and an adjustable Arca-type mounting plate alloys for precise light placement and maximum output. This bracket maximizes flash with Bowens S-Type and umbrella-based modifiers.
